The Coimbatore based K.U. SODALAMUTHU AND CO. PVT LTD has won the Regional Award from the Engineering Export Promotion Council in recognition of their achieving highest export performance during the year 2007-08 in the category “STAR PERFORMER – MEDIUM ENTERPRISE”. The company manufactures and exports paper conversion machinery for the production of paper cones, tubes, edge protectors and pulp moulded products since 1970. Apart from being the market leader in India, it also exports to several countries including USA, China, Brazil, Mexico, Russia, Egypt, Turkey, South Africa etc.
The award was given away by His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Nasheed Hon’ble President of Maldives at a function held recently at Maldives and the Company’s Managing Director Mr.K.S.Balamurugan received it.
The Company has been winning the export awards consecutively since 1988.
